In line with our vision to enable the general public to have access to our facilities as well as membership activities, we are working hard to provide information that will help you assess our accessibility and make decisions that are right for you, your family or group.
Our monthly Public Open Evenings recommence in October 2023 and continue through the winter, moving to Solar Viewing Days throughout spring and summer 2024 (weather permitting.)
Please note that we are presently undergoing an exciting upgrade to our facilities which will include an accessible Changing Places facility from autumn 2024.
Presently, this upgrade involves major site works and construction and we realise that during this temporary period some areas of our observatory may prove more difficult for some people to access.
We will continue to review our accessibility statement so that you have the most up-to-date information to help you plan for your visit.
Our volunteers are here to help, but for additional information and to advise us in advance of your needs please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
